Just now unpacking from an exciting summer trip overseas! I was inspired by the language, landscape, and adventures I had while in the South of France with a return trip through Iceland before heading back to Colorado. While in Iceland my stopover included a fantastic snorkeling guided tour into the Silfra Fissure in Thingvellir National Park. The Silfra Fissure is a channel of glacier melt water which flows between the North American and the Eurasian tectonic plates. To experience this deep crevasse in the earth by snorkeling through it was an off the charts experience!
Now back in my studio I will be painting new work for my fall show at Space Gallery opening in November in Denver, CO. You're invited to join me November 14 for the artist reception. My work will feature paintings inspired from my travels through Ireland, France, and Iceland.
