For the past ten months I have been planning, painting, video tapping and photographing for my upcoming DIA exhibition, Passport. This show has been nearly two years in the making since my invitation to exhibit at the DIA Terminal Gallery. You can find the gallery on Level Five West Jeppesen Terminal. Keep your shoes on you do not need to pass through security!
It takes a entire village to make a show like this come together and I do want to acknowledge the huge efforts of Mike, owner and director at Space Gallery; JG and Hans, at DIA; David, my videographer; Don, my webmaster; Dana, my photographer; Julian, my panel maker; and Morgan, my framer for their expertise and professionalism! I couldn’t have done this without your support. (For privacy, I haven’t included last names on purpose) My amazing family has remained steadfast and with me every step of the way with comments, strong coffee, take out dinners and loads of love.
Finally, A Date….January 9, 2016 Passport will open to the public. I plan to host a private Meet the Artist event and if you receive my monthly Blue Sky IDEA studio newsletter (You can join on my Homepage- see the Constant Contact sign up form) you will be invited. Like my FaceBook Patricia Artist Artist page for updates as well.
FYI: DIA does not permit an open gallery style reception due to security concerns.
