Santa came a few days before Christmas this year! New collectors have added my paintings, Mustard and Sky and Candy Land to their private residential collection. These works are now headed to Aspen, Colorado to grace their collectors new home.
Mustard and Sky was inspired by a summer time road trip to Prince Edward Island in Nova Scotia. Hot August days were perfect for showing off the bright yellow mustard flowers that lit up the horizon in every direction. Set against the sea blue Atlantic skies it made for memorable eye candy.
Candy Land, was inspired by a recent trip to Maui, HI, where I was fortunate to join an early bird sunrise snorkel/dive trip to Molokini. We were the first boat arriving at the partially submerged volcanic crater dive site that morning. As I dove below the waters surface a whole new world presented itself chalk full of a bevy of Pacific warm water fish, coral, and plants.
Thank you to Space Gallery, Denver, CO for their assistance in this acquisition!
